Did you know that "as calm as a Belgian" is a common expression in Lithuania? It is a reference to the Belgian draft horses they used to have on farms. For Lithuanians they are the epitome of calm reliability.’
It was 12 months ago that Indre Mackeviciute moved to Kraainem with her husband and four daughters. She feels completely at home here, in spite of missing the snow and cold winters in Lithuania.
